Restoration of the West wall of the ionic castle of Santa Barbara in Alicante, a fortress whose origin dates to the 9th century. Before the restoration, cracks were seen in the parapet, as well as the loss of the interior wall material and part of the masonry collapsed.

Restoration of the masonry and interior mudwall was proposed, partial demolition and reconstruction of parapets, repair of the pavements with a special concrete finish, over the lean concrete and a layer of gravel.

The wall is preserved according to the Special Plan for the Protection of the Castle of Santa Bárbara and its Surroundings, so the project and the construction works were carried out very carefully.
